Thailand's combined exports of natural rubber, mixed rubber down 6.2% y/y in first 7 months

In the first seven months of 2023, Thailand exported a total of 1.527 million tons of natural rubber (excluding compound rubber), down 23% year-on-year. Among them, the combined export of standard rubber was 846,000 tons, down 16% year-on-year; the export of smoke sheet rubber was 209,000 tons, down 23% year-on-year; and the export of latex was 459,000 tons, down 32% year-on-year.
From January to July, exports to China totaled 591,000 tons of natural rubber, an increase of 1% year-on-year. Among them, standard rubber exports to China totaled 374,000 tons, an increase of 20% year-on-year; smoke flake rubber exports to China totaled 45,000 tons, an increase of 55% year-on-year; latex exports to China totaled 172,000 tons, a year-on-year drop of 26%.
From January to July, Thailand's exports of mixed rubber totaled 1.142 million tons, an increase of 33% year-on-year; mixed rubber exports to China totaled 1.134 million tons, an increase of 34% year-on-year.
Taken together, Thailand's first seven months of natural rubber, mixed rubber exports totaled 2.669 million tons, down 6.2% year-on-year; total exports to China 1.725 million tons, an increase of 20% year-on-year.
