Rubber additives which can change crystallization
2024-02-03

Rubber additives are a class of additives used to improve the performance of rubber products. Although there are many kinds of rubber additives, here I mainly introduce several kinds of rubber additives that can change the crystallization behavior:
1. processing aids: for example, processing oils, softeners, etc., can reduce the glass transition temperature of rubber, so that the rubber remains soft at low temperatures, reducing the possibility of crystallization.
2. antioxidants: e.g. antioxidants, light stabilizers, etc., which can inhibit oxidation and aging reactions in rubber and reduce the occurrence of crystallization.
3. Fillers: e.g. carbon black, silica, etc., which can increase the hardness and strength of rubber and reduce plasticity and ductility, thus reducing the occurrence of crystallization.
4. anticrystallizing agents: such as anticrystallizing agents specifically designed to inhibit rubber crystallization. These anti-crystallizing agents can change the crystallization behavior of rubber molecules, prevent crystallization from occurring, and improve the service life of rubber products. Different types of rubber additives have their own characteristics and scope of application, according to the specific needs to choose.
